Artist Statement
In the portrait “Transition,” the subject with her shifting visions of many facets looks for the way out. What are the options? A subject of my concern. In addition to works on nature, my past art has dealt with the Vietnam War and the bombing of Hanoi, and with Cambodia where I lived in 1962.
