MPA to Feature Site-Specific Dance Performance, Panel Discussion
Presented in complement to its current exhibition, Nature as Prototype, McLean Project for the Arts (MPA) will offer a one-time, site-specific dance performance and panel discussion on December 19, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
Performed by choreographer Sarah Beth Oppenheim, the dance will take place at MPA@ChainBridge (1446 Chain Bridge Road, McLean). Ms. Oppenheim’s piece will be immediately followed by a panel discussion featuring Jade Garrett, former director of the Maker Space at George Mason University, and the general manager of TechShop maker space in Crystal City; as well as exhibition co-curators Elsabé Johnson Dixon and Betsy Johnson; and exhibition artists Adam Nelson and Yoko K.
