Artist Statement
Gary Kret was born in Wyandotte, Michigan in 1953. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Master of Fine Arts from Yale University School of Art in New Haven, Connecticut. He was the recipient of the The Fannie B. Pardee Prize and Polish Heritage Grants. After a 24-year hiatus from exhibiting, Gary Kret has resumed showing his work in 2018. He currently lives and works in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
