Registration is now open for MPA's Fall art classes. Class offerings will be a mix of in studio and virtual.
(Not) Strictly Painting
Join MPA September 18 – November 13 for (Not) Strictly Painting, a juried biennial exhibition celebrating the depth and breadth of paintings–or works related in some way to painting–from artists throughout the mid-Atlantic area. (Not) Strictly Painting was juried by Foon Sham, Virginia-based artist and Professor of Art at the University of Maryland, College Park, and Virginia Treanor, Associate Curator at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

MPAartfest Returns to Central Park

MPA announces gift of artist Emilie Benes Brzezinski’s work. MPA will accept the mantle to establish the next chapter of her spectacular body of work. The gift was announced at MPA’s ArtSprings! Virtual Benefit in April.
