Inclement Weather Policy

Please NOTE: McLean Project for the Arts follows the same FCPS Inclement Weather Policies and Procedures as the McLean Community Center.

Therefore, review the actions of the Fairfax County Public Schools

• Closed—All McLean Community Center and Old Firehouse Teen Center classes are closed.
• Delayed Opening—All McLean Community Center and Old Firehouse Teen Center classes will be on a regular schedule.
• Released Early—All McLean Community Center and Old Firehouse Teen Center classes held after 2 p.m. are released early.
• Cancel Afternoon Activities and Classes – All Center/OFTC classes held after 2 p.m. are This means if Fairfax County Public Schools cancel all afternoon activities and classes at the school sites, all McLean Community Center and Old Firehouse Teen Center classes held after 2 p.m. are cancelled.
• Cancel Evening Activities and Classes – All Center/OFTC classes held after 6 p.m. are cancelled.  This means if Fairfax County Public Schools cancel all evening activities and classes at the school sites, all McLean Community Center and Old Firehouse Teen Center classes are cancelled for the evening.
