Students learn and develop their ability to draw cartoon imagery, including action, irony and emotional expression of characters. Young Rembrandts uses stepwise instruction to encourage students to create their own independent versions of its cartoon lessons, with animated characters in humorous settings. The curriculum is varied and challenging, with new, engaging cartooning lessons every week, and every session. The goal is to provide students with a fun introduction to cartooning techniques such as exaggeration, caricature and personification, to make playful art of their own.
