CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
for the MPA ClassWorks Exhibition: Art Produced by Participants in the MPA Studio Education Program Adult Classes
To be held in the
McLean Project for the Arts’ Ramp Gallery
McLean Community Center
JUNE 16 – July 30, 2016
Submissions are open to students from Summer 2015, Fall 2015 and Winter/Spring 2016 MPA classes and MPA Open Studio sessions. Two submissions per student will be accepted. We will hang at least one piece, but the second piece will be hung upon the discretion of the Exhibitions Director.
Work must be TWO-DIMENSIONAL
Work must be READY TO HANG with WIRE. Simple frames are fine, as long as they are WIRED AND READY TO HANG.
Work must be LABELED ON BACK. Include the following information: YOUR NAME, ADDRESS & PHONE, YOUR CLASS NAME, THE WORK’S title, medium date of completion, and price (if for sale) or insurance value.
WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED: Friday, June 3, 10AM – 4PM; and Saturday June 4, 11AM – 1PM. Work will be accepted in the MPA main gallery, upstairs in the community center. For further information please contact MPA Exhibitions Director, Nancy Sausser at email@example.com or contact your instructor.
