MPA's signature spring fête, Spring Benefit, will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the McLean home of Mark Lowham and Joseph Ruzzo. Individual tickets are now available. Co-chaired by Cynthia Steele Vance and Mandy Mafi, the event will feature music from DC Martini, an exhibition of works by Chee Keong Kung, and more. Open Call for Art Teachers

We are looking for artists/teachers to teach art classes in our DuVal studio, located in the McLean Community Center, for adults, children and teens.

All media, processes and approaches considered. Openings beginning in Spring 2024. Both weekly classes and workshop formats considered. Salary commensurate with experience.

Join MPA through June 15, 2024 for our Spring Solos. Our Emerson Gallery will feature "Toys in the Hands of History: Paintings by Osvaldo Mesa" and "Return to the Library of L.E. Grothaus: Altered Books by Laura Grothaus." "Inner Gardens: Works by Abol Bahadori" will be on display in our Atrium Gallery. An in-person artist talk will take place June 1 at 11 am, and a Tea & Talk is scheduled for June 4 at 11 am.

Spring has officially sprung, bringing with it the start of MPA's Spring Art Class lineup! There's still time to register and join us for an exciting Spring Art class. Offerings include classes for adults and youth, as well as two one-day workshops with Ronni Jolles and our always popular Open Studio.

Our always popular Open Studio is back this spring, with sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Attendees are welcome to register for the full session, or pay a drop-in fee of $20/class.
