New Exhibitions Open to the Public November 21
Three new exhibitions are opening at McLean Project for the Arts on Saturday, November 21. Make plans to attend the exhibitions’ opening reception on Thursday, December 3 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibitions and reception are free and open to the public.
The exhibitions are on view through December 23, 2015.
Emerson Gallery: The Same but Different: Creative Morphology
A curated exhibition featuring works by Richard Dana, Susan Eder and Craig Dennis, Tom Green, and Laurel Lukaszewski who make use of the scientific processes of observing, sorting and classifying as a prelude to creating shape, structure and color. The exhibit will highlight the inherent conceptual and procedural similarities between scientific and artistic process.
Atrium Gallery: Wanderer: The Travel Journals, Works by Maria Karametou
Mixed media works based on visual observations collected while wandering in different parts of the world as a way of interpreting experience.
Ramp Gallery: McLean Art Society Juried Exhibition
Works in multiple mediums and styles by members of the McLean Art Society.
